I worked in purchasing, production and production planning.
I returned to the software work I had pursued as a hobby years earlier. I took on my first professional projects.
I helped shape the backend architecture and built the web interface for a bookkeeping application developed from scratch.
We developed web and mobile products for various clients.
I took responsibility for Shopiget’s full-stack development and DevOps. I continue to provide support as needed.
I work independently now. I take on new work, pick up unfinished projects, and offer consulting when needed.
I'm a mechanical engineer. I started my career in a factory, learning procurement, production and planning on the shop floor. Then I followed an old curiosity back to software. The systems I build today still carry traces of that engineering discipline.
Was it a planned career? No. But it looks good here.
